Premium Calculation 

As a relation of Atradius you can calculate a premium for cover of financing risk.

Calculation of premium is for "Comprehensive" cover only. It is not possible to calculate separate premiums for individual risk causes via "risk slicing". Please contact Atradius for further information about this.

With respect to guidelines for portfolio distributions you should take into account that a premium rise will be applicable for all countries with a country class 7. Concrete : the country component for credit risk premium will be raised with 10% for country class 7.

There will be no extra rise charged for Indonesia on the premium for country risk as a result of exceeding the country ceiling but be aware of the fact that we may apply the rise in the future in case our commitments rapidly increase.

As a result of the international credit crisis, the premium for specific bank risks in Eastern European markets is rised. The external letterrating of the bank will be leading in this. Markets concerned: Estonia , Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine, Kazachstan and Azerbaijan.

The price of the Standard Bank will be the starting point. The Good Bank and State Bank will therefore be no longer a valid buyer class in those markets for premium calculations.

The premium  on banks with an external letterrating of BBB- or better (investment grade banks) will not be rised.

The premium on banks with an external letterrating of BB+, BB or BB- will be rised with 15%. The surcharge will be charged over the total premium.

The premium on banks with an external letterrating of B+, B or B- will be rised with 30%. The surcharge will be charged over the total premium.
