Atradius Dutch State Business country policies

Country policy

This country policy is for companies who want to export. For each country, a country policy has been established that applies to all export transactions insured by Atradius.

The country policy for medium term transactions applies to Dutch export transactions only. Country ceilings are generally applied for medium term business. The capacity under the country ceilings is updated and published monthly on this site. Promises of Cover are booked under the relevant country ceiling for 100% of their value; policies are booked for their full value.

The maximum percentage covered is 95. For cover on buyers in industrialised countries, however, this percentage is in general maximised to 90. The maximum percentage for political risk may be 98. In addition, reduced percentages of cover may apply to buyers in a certain number of countries. This is specified on the relevant country pages.
The country policy is updated continuously. It is possible, however, that changes have taken place after the last update. For more information, please contact us by e-mail or telephone.

Country facts

On a number of important export markets, Atradius has put together some facts, based on recent data. These facts can be found, if available, next to the country policy of the relevant countries. Economic changes may, however, take place faster than the site is updated. Therefore, facts might have changed in the meantime.
